Venue Hire

Situated on the bustling corner of Nicholson and Princes St Carlton, amidst a beautiful community garden, CNLC has a number of spaces available for hire. One-off venue hire is available to individuals under CNLC’s Community Venue Hire program, or groups/individuals with current public liability insurance who would like an ongoing or permanent booking. 

Access to refreshments and amenities are included in the venue hire fee. The kitchen includes a stove / oven, microwave, refrigerator, kettle and urn and a range of basic cooking and serving utensils.

AVAILABLE SPACES:

The Panayota Miller room

  • 2 rooms separated by accordion wall
  • Each room seats up to 15 people
  • Tables can be packed away to seat more
  • Access to kitchen
  • Access to garden spaces 

This room is great for birthday parties, workshops, public meetings or staff planning days.

The Sarah Deasey room

  • Ceiling mounted projector
  • Seats approx. 20 people with tables and chairs 
  • Access to Kitchen
  • Inside the main house

This room is great for staff or board meetings, small workshops or presentations.

The Mary Parfrey room

  • Seats approx. 12 people with tables and chairs
  • Access to kitchen 

This room is great for committee or small group meetings, support groups, or reading groups.

Garden and venue hire

Hire the garden or rooms – for birthdays, gatherings, meetings, and events. We also have a yarning circle space in the garden.

Rates and documents

All groups must pay a $20 key deposit, refunded on return of the key.

Changes to the above payment arrangements can be negotiated with the Executive Officer.
