The Reconnect program supports Victorians experiencing disadvantage.
If you’re aged 18-64 and have been out of work/education for over 6 months, contact us for personalized support to reach your goals. A Reconnect caseworker may be able to assist you. Email or call us at 9347 2739 for more information and eligibility.
Reconnect is supported by the Victorian Government.
OPEN DOOR HUB AT CARLTON HOUSING ESTATE
Our Open Door hub at the Carlton public housing estate supports the refugee/migrant community to lead connected, productive, and fulfilled lives. We provide a welcoming community space, assistance with education and employment, one-on-one support, and advocacy for individual and community wellbeing.
CARLTON COMMUNITY NETWORK (CCN)
CNLC coordinates the Carlton Community Network (CCN). This is an important opportunity for the numerous agencies and services (over 50) in Carlton to network, collaborate and share ideas. CCN holds bi-monthly meetings at sites across Carlton.

SPECIAL EVENTS
CNLC hosts events throughout the year to celebrate diversity, join us to share a meal, meet new friends, and learn more about key themes observed in Australia. Upcoming events include Lunar New Year, International Women’s Day, Carlton Harmony Day, Neighborhood House Week, Reconciliation Week, Eid Celebration, and Environment & Sustainability events. Horn of Africa
ERITREAN WOMEN’S GROUP
A group, auspiced by CNLC, to provide an opportunity for local Eritrean women to gather, discuss the week’s events, support each other, share a meal, hear from local speakers and organise outings.

HARARI CARLTON WOMEN’S GROUP
A group, auspiced by CNLC, to provide an opportunity for Harari women to gather, support each other, share a meal, learn from educational speakers and organise events.
