What's On at Open Door

Our Open Door office is currently closed but we want to help keep you active and mentally healthy during this different experience of isolation.

We have FREE weekly yoga classes with a teacher who has been working with residents of the Carlton housing estate for years. 

This yoga is for all ability levels (beginners to advanced) and it will help get your body moving, whilst building strength and flexibility. A mixture of both yin (gentle, slow and restorative poses) and yang (more intense and stronger poses).

Yoga is a practice where we are present, positive and kind to ourselves first!

The teacher is Michelle, a passionate, friendly and quirky Canadian Australian Primary school teacher.

She has been practicing yoga for 12 years and been teaching for the past 3 years, including residents at the Carlton housing estate. She is trained in both Vinyasa flow and yin yoga.

Her passions include travelling, yoga and learning about different languages and cultures!


We also have FREE ONLINE COOKING LESSONS available, so you can get the whole family involved in making a meal together!
